The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, set to be held in the USA and the West Indies starting in June. Star spinner Rashid Khan will captain the squad, including experienced players and emerging talents.

Fast Bowling Line-up

Afghanistan’s fast bowling line-up includes Naveen-ul-Haq, Fareed Ahmad, and Fazalhaq Farooq. These bowlers have shown the ability to take wickets and restrict runs, providing crucial support to the team’s spin department.

Afghanistan’s batting unit will be led by key players such as Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Najeeb Zadran, and Ibrahim Zadran. Afghanistan’s Atalans have been placed in Group C of the T20 World Cup 2024, where they will face co-hosts West Indies, New Zealand, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea.
