Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev has praised Jasprit Bumrah, acknowledging the fast bowler’s exceptional skills and contributions to the Indian cricket team. Kapil Dev, who is regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders in the history of cricket, expressed his admiration for Bumrah’s remarkable bowling performance in the ongoing T20 World Cup, stating that Bumrah is a ‘1000 times better’ bowler than he was during his prime.

Throughout the T20 World Cup, Jasprit Bumrah has been a key player for India, demonstrating his prowess with the ball. He has represented India in 26 Test matches, claiming 159 wickets with an impressive economy rate of less than three runs per over. In One Day Internationals (ODIs), he has taken 149 wickets in 89 appearances, and in T20 Internationals (T20Is), he has claimed 85 wickets from 68 games.
