Rishabh Pant, the explosive wicketkeeper-batsman, is on the verge of making a triumphant return to the cricket field. Sources confirm his readiness to play for Delhi Capitals (DC) in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). After undergoing extensive rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) since April last year, Pant has secured the necessary fitness clearance, paving the way for his eagerly anticipated comeback.

Pant’s return to competitive cricket comes after a period of intense rehabilitation following a harrowing car accident in December 2022. Surviving the crash, Pant underwent surgery for right knee ligament injuries and embarked on a gruelling recovery journey. With the support of his medical team and coaches, Pant steadily progressed through the stages of recovery, culminating in his imminent comeback for Delhi Capitals.

As Pant prepares to rejoin Delhi Capitals, the team management is orchestrating a comprehensive plan for his reintroduction to competitive cricket.
