However, this time, he has emerged as a number outside the field of cricket. He was named on top of the list of the most valued celebrities. In doing so, he has eclipsed Bollywood celebrities such as Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan.

Virat Kohli has extended his reign as the most valuable Indian celebrity. According to a report by Hindustan Times, the Indian cricketer has increased his overall brand value by nearly 29% in this year alone.

What is Kohli’s Brand Value?

Several rumors circulate around the internet claiming different figures for Kohli’s brand value. However, according to the consultancy firm Kroll, Indian cricket is valued around USD 227.9 million as of 2023. His value increased to USD 237.7 million in 2020.

The list also featured Indian cricketers, such as MS Dhoni, who has a brand value of USD 95.8 million. Accompanying him is Sachin Tendulkar, who was eighth on the list with USD 91.3 million to his name.

Virat Kohli’s cricketing prowess in recent times

He had an impressive season with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. They might have failed to make it to the final, but Kohli was the top scorer in the tournament.
