On the other hand, they’re all set to embark on their footballing journey to clinch the eluding title of UEFA Euro 2024, which begins in Germany soon.

Harry Kane greets Ben Stokes ahead of training

In an unusual outing, the big faces from the two different worlds came together during England’s football team’s training session ahead of the two friendlies.

Ben Stokes, the English captain in the Test format, was spotted on the sidelines of the training session. He was seen accompanying Gareth Southgate, the football team manager.

Wearing a form-fitting black t-shirt and black shades, Stokes looked in a rather relaxing mood. Earlier, he had withdrawn from the T20 World Cup squad selection, citing his physical requirements as an allrounder who can perform in all three formats of the game.

Soon, Stokes was joined and greeted by Harry Kane, the captain of England’s football team. In the social media video, they shared a wholesome handshake. Later, the skipper’s example was followed by other players, who later shook Stoke’s hand as well.
